Internal Family Systems - Informed Parts Work
You get more in touch with the myriad of internal experiences or parts that at times can create conflict and tension. Bringing them into your awareness, right relationship, and harmony can lead to powerful internal shifts and experiences of life.
Big Life Changes in Career & Work
We work together to identify what's no longer working, what might work better, and explore the parts and areas needing support in moving toward the new. Burnout, Change in Geographical location requiring change in career, Expanding upon current work in new ways.
Nervous System Education
Explore tools and deepen understanding of the ways you can support your nervous system and build more sense of safety from within your own system and body. For those using a Brain Retraining program, I have experience with Primal Trust and DNRS.
Since beginning my work as a therapist in 2016, I have built up a library of tools, modalities, and experience to help you achieve your mental health and wellbeing goals.
Big Life Changes
Are you working through some big life transitions and wondering how mindfulness and somatic awareness might help you along the way? Are you exploring a change of career, or working through a medical upheaval, and want a bit of added support in making this big change? Do you have anxiety and fears that seem to be taking a hold in ways that leave you stumped as to how to cool the flames and get back to a feeling of grounding and calm? Perhaps working with some of the nervous system tools and exploring new ways to relate to anxiety could help. These are areas I enjoy helping my clients navigate.
Strengths-Based
For short term therapy, I offer a strengths-based, solution focused approach to therapy. This means we will work together to identify the challenges, your strengths that can support you in meeting those challenges, add in some new tools as may be fitting, and explore ways to move toward the goal you have in mind for how you'd like to see your life change or improve.
Modalities
For longer term therapeutic work, my approach encompasses Internal Family Systems-informed Parts work to explore the myriad of parts that play ping pong matches inside your head, and support greater integration of all the parts and memories, Polyvagal Theory and Nervous System Education to befriend and work with your nervous system, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to work with challenging emotions and crisis situations, and Mindfulness to foster a closer connection with your own body and ability to self regulate.
How I Roll
My work is informed by my own spiritual practices and commitment to living an aligned life with a work life balance in connection to nature and my creative impulses. I believe we all deserve the best in life and there are ways to work with the barriers that want to tell us otherwise. I am here as a guide, utilizing my clinical evidence-based skill set along with intuition, creativity, and some humor, supporting you to identify your strengths, growth edges, parts at play, and possible solutions each step of the way.
I got into this line of work as a result of wanting to make a positive impact in the lives of others, after watching loved ones struggle and feeling the immediate impact. I have been a seeker from a young age, exploring yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, Tai ji, Martial arts, art, the Natural world, and writing as forms of self exploration, inquiry and understanding. I love nature time, dog pet friends, and spending time connecting with loved ones and community.

Welcome to your mental and emotional health journey. If you are here, I suspect you are onto something new and good as you consider resources and supports for your life and goals for wellbeing.
I know life can bring massive challenges. I have been there in more ways than one over the years. As a therapist, I will walk alongside as a compassionate presence and offer an intentionally held non judgmental space, tools, education, and skills as you move towards your goals for your therapy.
My approach can best be described as a collaborative process, taking place in a trauma-informed manner. Building safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship with me as your therapist, and within yourself, are part of the process and outcome through our work together.
Sometimes this involves learning tools, shifting mindsets, and updating beliefs about yourself that aren't working. At other times, it may involve finding acceptance for what is, and surrendering to a bigger picture of what may be playing out. It may include becoming more familiar with your body's wisdom and how your emotions, thoughts and feelings show up in your physical systems.
Sometimes, it's as simple as sharing yourself, your experiences, and your story with another person in a safe space.
I invite you to contact me if you would like to get started.
